Mr. Tapas Ballav Mondal ....for the State The writ petitioner complains of inaction on the part of the police in connection with a complaint dated May 20, 2021. It appears from the records that on the said date, the private respondent and the petitioner are stated to have assaulted each other.

In respect of the petitioner's complaint registered as FIR being Sonarpur Police Station Case No. 382/21 dated 20.05.2021, charge sheet no. 476 of 2021 dated June 30, 2021 under Sections 447/323/354/506 and Section 34 of the IPC has been filed. In respect of the complaint of the private respondent, registered as FIR No. 392 of 2021, charge sheet no. 490/21 dated July 5, 2021 under Sections 341/325/354/506 and Section 34 of the IPC has been filed.

This Court therefore does not find inaction on the part of the police.

The report dated September 13, 2021 is taken on record.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

The petitioner shall be provided with copies of the aforesaid charge sheets as also the copy of the FIR by the Sonarpur Police Station.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
