The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated in this case. He has no connection with the fake Indian Currency that was recovered from his house. Further, it is not mentioned in the seizure list that from which portion of his house the fake currency was recovered. He is in custody for 137 days. Charge-sheet has been filed. His further custodial detention is not necessary.

The State strongly opposes the petitioner's prayer for bail. The case diary is produced. We find from the case diary that prima facie there are sufficient incriminating materials against the petitioner. The offence alleged is grave in nature. It is quite possible that if we grant bail, the petitioner shall indulge in similar activities.

The application for bail is, accordingly, rejected at this stage. Signed By :
