Nobody appears for either of the parties. Even on earlier occasion nobody appeared for either of the parties. No accommodation has been sought for.

The petitioners have filed this application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India read with Sections 397/401/482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying for quashing of criminal proceeding being General Registrar Case No. 3020 of 2017 arising out of Phoolbagan Police Station Case No. 156 of 2017 dated 06.10.2017 under Sections 498A/306/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 3 /4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and the same is pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd Court at Sealdah, South 24 Pgs. This case is pending since 2018. Despite the pendency, no one appears for the petitioners in spite of giving several opportunities. It seems the petitioners are no more interested to proceed with the instant case. Accordingly, CRR 1802 of 2018 is dismissed for default. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
