This is an application for bail filed in connection with Jagacha P.S. Case No.127 of 2024 dated 22.07.2024 under Sections 20(b)(ii) (c)/29 of the NDPS Act.

The learned advocate representing the petitioners submitted the petitioners to have been in custody for more than ten months. Two co-accused persons have been granted bail since contraband was not recovered from their custody. However, certain amount of contraband had been recovered from the custody of the present petitioners and which was to the extent of 43 kgs. Ganja.
3. Considering the period of custody, the learned advocate representing the petitioners sought for an order of bail. 4.
The learned advocate representing the State submitted that the charge-sheet had been filed on 12th January, 2025 and opposed the prayer for grant of bail.

Considering the submissions of the learned advocate representing the parties and the materials on record which did not satisfy the embargo and the twin cumulative reasonable grounds to controvert
the provisions of Section 37 of the NDPS Act, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
