Anjali Tamang v. State Of West Bengal
C.R.R. No.1811 of 2012 (Via Video Conference) D/L47.
September 7, 2021 Bpg.
In Re: An application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
Anjali Tamang
Versus
State of West Bengal Mr. Debapratim Guha.
...for the petitioner.
Mr. Binay Panda, Mr. Subham Bhakat.
...for the State.
The present revisional application was preferred in connection with an order dated 15th March, 2012 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 6th Court, Barasat in connection with N-48 of 2008.
The order dated 15.03.2012 reflects that the petitioner's bank passbook was not returned as earlier prayer was rejected by the same court.
I find that the case was being tried under Section 20(b)(i) of the NDPS Act. As the subject-matter involves return of the savings deposit passbook of a nationalised bank, I do not think that the same is very relevant to be considered at this belated stage after almost eight years.
Accordingly, CRR 1811 of 2012 is dismissed.
Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
