Shri Krishnendu Bagchi, the B.L. & L.R.O Mr. Lalit Mohan Mahata, Mr. Prasanta Behari Mahata ....for the alleged contemnors

1. None appears for the petitioners at the time of call.

2. By an order dated July 18, 2025, it was recorded by this Court that a bunch of documents were handed over in Court by the alleged contemnor, which indicated prima facie that the decision/report of the B.L. & L.R.O was duly communicated to the petitioners, contrary to the allegation made in the contempt application.

3. The matter was then adjourned only on the prayer of the petitioners' Advocate to enable him to take instructions in that regard.

4. However, today, at the time of call, none appears for the petitioners.

5. In view of the previous order, it is evident that the contempt application has been rendered infructuous in view of the order of this Court having been complied with.

6. Accordingly, CPAN 573 of 2022 is disposed of as infructuous without any order as to costs.

Consequentially, CAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of as well. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.)
