Presently, the matrimonial suit is pending before the learned Special Judge-cumAdditional District Judge, Durgapur. Petitioner/wife requested to transfer the same to the court of learned District Judge, Howrah.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that another criminal case filed by the petitioner/wife is pending at Howrah.

Learned counsel for the opposite party very fairly on instructions submit that the matter may be transferred to the court of competent jurisdiction at Howrah. However, the direction may be issued to the

transferee court to dispose of the matter expeditiously.

In view of the submissions made Matrimonial Suit No.71 of 2024 is withdrawn from the learned Special Judge-cum-Additional District Judge, Durgapur and assigned to the court of competent jurisdiction under the learned District and Sessions Judge, Howrah, the transferee court shall dispose of the matter expeditiously, in accordance with law and shall not grant any unnecessary adjournment.

Copy of the order be sent to the transferee court. Department is directed to communicate the order to the learned trial court.

Accordingly, the revision petition is disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
