The petitioner is an Ex-senior Passenger Guard, Howrah under Station Manager, Guard, Howrah and as such, was an employee of Eastern Railway.

The grievance of the petitioner, being the subject matter of the writ petition, is required to be ventilated before the Central Administrative Tribunal of competent jurisdiction constituted under Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. This Court lacks the jurisdiction to receive, try and determine the instant writ petition.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh on the self-same cause and for the self-same reliefs, if so advised, before the competent Administrative Tribunal.
