The petitioner was appointed as an Assistant Teacher of Mathematics in an Honours post pursuant to the recommendation dated 21.08.2009 of the School Service Commission.

The petitioner had already acquired the postgraduate degree on 1st February 2009. He has applied for higher pay scale, which is pending consideration before the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24-Parganas.

In that view of the matter, the petitioner's representation dated 27th May 2022 be considered and disposed of by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24-Parganas with a reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
