1. Affidavit-of-service filed in court today is taken on record.
2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the appellants submits that the event scheduled on 30th March, 2024, which became subject-matter of litigation in WPA 9086 of 2024, is over. However, writ petition contains many arguable points including the locus of the petitioner, maintainability of writ petition, etc. These legal aspects may be kept open to be raised and decided in appropriate proceeding.
3. Shri De, learned Additional Government Pleader, has no objection in the innocuous prayer.
4. The instant appeal is disposed of by reserving liberty, as prayed for.
5. With the dismissal of the instant appeal, the pending application is also dismissed.
