The petitioner is a college, providing B.Ed. course to the eligible students which is run by a trust and is affiliated to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University.
The petitioner due to internal dispute between the trustees could not register some of its students with the University in time for the academic session 2024-2026. The petitioner is praying such registration.
Mr. Baidya, learned advocate for the University submits the petitioner college is entitled to admit 100 students in the said course out of which 66 students have already been registered. The University is arranging first semester examination of the said course for large number of students as such at this stage it is difficult for the University to register new students.
The College due to its internal management dispute could not register all of its students, for the said lapses of the college the students should not suffer.
The college, therefore, is directed to send names and other particulars of its remaining 34 students to the University immediately.
The University on receipt of the names/particulars and upon compliance of all formalities shall register the said 34 students.
It is made clear that this order has been passed in the facts and circumstances of the present case as such shall not be treated as precedent.
Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
WPA 12170 of 2025 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
