1. Learned counsel for the alleged contemnor submits that the parent order was never served on the alleged contemnor, leading to the non-compliance of the same earlier. It is pointed out from the photocopy of the postal track report annexed at page-11 of the contempt application that although the „Event‟ has been described to be "Item Delivered (Addressee)", it is shown immediately prior thereto that the office at which it was delivered was the Alipore head office. Even the timings, it is pointed out, indicate the fact that service was not effected on the addressee.

2. Be that as it may, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order-in-question has been complied with.

3. Accordingly, there cannot be any further occasion to keep the contempt application pending.

4. Hence, CPAN 849 of 2024 is disposed of.
