The FSL's report, which came first suffered from certain defects. A prayer was made to furnish a further report, but the FSL has not yet sent the same. That is the reason for the delay in filing a charge sheet. It appears that on 06.02.2024 a further prayer was made before the Director of FSL, Belgachhia Road, Kolkata for furnishing the report sought earlier vide CMR. No. 40/2023.

Let the report made available positively within three weeks from this date.

Thereafter, the police authorities shall conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a month from receiving such report.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Parties shall act on a server copy downloaded from the official website of this Court.
