The petitioner is an approved Assistant Teacher of a High School of the subject Nutrition, his representation praying higher scale of pay on enhancement of qualification in the relevant subject is long pending before the Additional District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), District- Paschim Medinipur, the respondent no. 4 herein.

The petitioner is complaining delay in disposal of the said representation.

The respondent no. 4 is directed to dispose of the said representation in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order, if necessary, after giving the petitioner or his representative an opportunity of hearing. W.P.A. 13631 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.
