The grievance raised by the petitioner challenging the act of the Panchayat Samity in proceeding with the tender of ferry ghat is pending consideration. It appears from the submission made on behalf of the parties that the tender process is long over and work order has also been issued. Accordingly, the Court declines to exercise jurisdiction in the matter. The Block Development Officer, Tehatta - I is directed to take steps to consider the representation filed by the petitioner on 2nd May, 2023 in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. Reasonable opportunity of hearing shall be given to the petitioner and all other necessary parties. Reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the parties.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

The parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order that may be downloaded from the official website of the Court.
