The petitioner claims to be a citizen of Bangladesh. The affidavit appended to the writ petition sworn by the petitioner discloses that she is an Indian national which is, on the face of it, incorrect.

Her application for anticipatory bail has been rejected. She was arrested. The petitioner does not have valid documents permitting her to stay in India. The prayer of the petitioner seeking regularization of her stay in India, under such circumstances, cannot be allowed.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. 4.

The connected application is deemed to be disposed of consequently.
