Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of GR Case No. 668 of 2020 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ghatal, Paschim Medinipur the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties. Opposite parties shall not be prejudiced if an order for expeditious disposal of the matter is passed in their absence. Expeditious disposal of the matter shall in fact enure to the benefit of both the parties.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that charge has been framed against the petitioner and the dates are being fixed for witness action. It appears that the case is pending before the learned Trial Court since 2020. In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 1991 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
