This petitioner primarily aggrieved by the failure on the part of the State respondents and prays for a direction upon the State respondents to issue an OBC certificate in favour of the petitioner.

Since, the matter has been moved citing extreme urgency on the ground that the admission of the petitioner in the National Law School of India University, Bangaluru is dependent upon issuance of the aforesaid OBC certificate and taking note of the fact that an application for SC/ST/OBC certificate is pending before the concerned respondent from 7th December, 2024, I am of the view that the present writ petition can be disposed of by permitting the

petitioner to make an appropriate representation before the respondent no.3.

If such representation is made within a period of two days from date, the respondent no.3 shall be obliged to consider and shall dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within seven days from the date of receipt thereof, in accordance with law.

It is made clear that this court has not gone into the merit of the matter and the respondent no.3 shall decide the issue being un-influenced by any of the observations made herein.
