Petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved by the inaction of the Officer-in-Charge, Madhyamgram Police Station.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report.

Report reflects that Madhyamgram PS Case No.

527/2023 dated 10.09.2023 was registered for investigation and consequent to conclusion of the investigation charge sheet was submitted before the jurisdictional Court. Being aggrieved by the outcome of the investigation, a Naraji petition was preferred before the jurisdictional Magistrate relating to recovery of the stridhan articles. It is also found from the report that pursuant to an information being furnished as the petitioners were threatened, a case under section 195(A) of the Indian Penal Code being

Madhyamgram PS Case No.

296/2024 dated 01.05.2024 was registered for investigation.

Having considered that two police cases have been registered and the jurisdictional Magistrate is already in seisin of the issues, I am of the opinion that the grievance of the petitioner be addressed by the jurisdictional Magistrate already in seisin of the issue.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 13660 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.
