For the Respondent No. 2 The petitioner complains that after his superannuation on January 9, 2016, he applied before the controlling authority for computation of his gratuity amount which was registered as Case No. 19/20/G/How. The said case is yet to be disposed of by the competent authority. It is submitted on behalf of the respondent No. 3 that the proceeding is in progress and could not be completed due to pandemic.

Having heard the submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties and considering the material on record, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction upon the respondent No. 2 to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner, being Case No. 19/20/G/How after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties including the petitioner within a period of six months from date, in accordance with law.

W.P.A. 13235 of 2021 is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, all allegations contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
