Perused the case diary and the materials on record. It appears that on 16th December, 2024 the petitioner's prayer for bail was last rejected. Although there was a direction to expedite the trial, but at present, the charge has not been framed.

Considering the nature of offence and the materials on record, this Court is of the view that at this stage, the petitioner should not be enlarged on bail.

Thus, the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

Learned trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of nine months. In the event, the said trial is not concluded within the period of nine months, the petitioner would be at liberty to pray for bail before the trial court.
