Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application before the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Purba Bardhaman, P.O. - Purba Bardhaman, P.S. - Rajbati, District - Purba Burdwan way back on 16.11.2023 but till date the representation has not been considered by the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Purba Bardhaman, P.O. - Purba Bardhaman, P.S. - Rajbati, District - Purba Burdwan, being the respondent no.4.

Learned counsels appearing for the State and the Chairman and Managing Director, the West Bengal Mineral Development & Trading Corporation Limited are present.

Perused the application and heard the parties at length.

The Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer being the respondent no.4 in this application is requested to consider the application of the petitioners dated 16.11.2023 within a period of eight weeks from date after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order after allowing him to produce necessary documents before the respondent no.4. The respondent no.4 is also requested to communicate the said order to the petitioner at an earliest.

The writ petition being WPA 13666 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
