24.04.2024 cm CRR 2069 of 2011 In the matter of : Kalpana Purakait .... petitioner.

Mr. Avishek Sinha ... for the State The report filed by the Officer-in-Charge, Sandeshkhali Police Station, Basirhat Police District dated 18.04.2024 be kept on record.

Despite service of notice, none of the parties appeared before the Court.

The learned advocate for the State is present. The instant revisional application has been filed being aggrieved by an order dated 27.05.2011 and all orders subsequent thereto arising out of Sandeshkhali Police Station Case No. 148 dated 20.11.2004 corresponding to S.C. Case No. 50(12)05 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court No. 2, Basirhat, North 24-Pargans under Sections 376 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

From the certified copy of the orders passed in S.T. 1(8) of 2009 it appears that the evidence was recorded and final date

was fixed for argument but substantial time has lapsed and the fate of the aforesaid trial case must have been decided. Under such circumstances, the instant revisional application has become infructuous and accordingly disposed of.

Copy of the order be sent to the Department as well as learned trial court for immediate compliance. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
