It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that in view of the subsequent events and in view of the order dated 16th January, 2024 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench in WPO 2261 of 2022, nothing survives to be decided in this writ petition. In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous.

Significantly, against the order dated 16th January, 2024 an appeal has been filed and the same is pending. With the aforesaid directions WPA 12617 of 2023 stands disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
