Kausik (Allowed) CRM (NDPS) 1272 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/ Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 in connection with Kaliganj Police Station Case No. 1095 of 2024 dated 14.12.2024 under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/25/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Mr. Santanu Talukdar Mr. Priyankar Ganguly Mrs. Shalini Bairagi Mr. Amaan Deep Gupta Ms. Pipasa Chakraborty ......for the Petitioner.

Petitioner is similarly situated as the other accused namely, Mir Kasem Mondal who has been granted bail on 19.05.2026.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail but is unable to refute the contention that petitioner is not similarly situated as other accused. In view of the aforesaid, petitioner be released on bail in terms of the same conditions which were imposed on Mir Kasem Mondal in CRM (NDPS) 799 of 2026.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1272 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
