Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for over 210 days. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore further detention of the petitioner is not required.
Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. Moreover, he relies upon the criminal antecedents of the petitioner.
Considering the materials in the case diary the gravity of the offence and the complicity of the petitioner and the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.
CRM 5530 of 2021 is rejected.
