At the time of call no one appears for the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for. The contempt application being CPAN 833 of 2018 is also taken up for consideration pursuant to the order dated 25th August, 2023. On perusal of the contempt application it appears that though the application has been filed in connection with the writ petition being WPA 13844 of 2017 but the alleged violation is in connection with the order dated 8th Novemer, 2017 passed on a writ petition being WPA 13884 of 2017. Therefore it appears the contempt application has wrongly been filed in connection with the writ petition being WPA 13844 of 2017 since it appears that it should have been filed in connection with the writ petition being WPA 13884 of 2017.

Accordingly, the contempt application stands dismissed.

Since no one appears for the petitioner today and the same situation prevailed on 25th August, 2023, it appears that petitioner has lost interest. The writ petition stands dismissed. Interim order, if any stands vacated.
