G.P., Mr. Raja Saha, Mr. Debasish Ghosh, ....for the State The writ petitioner complains that notwithstanding the order of the Excise Commissioner setting aside an order cancelling his licence for country liquor shop, the licence has not been restored to the petitioner.

Counsel for the State Mr. Raja Saha submits that the District Collector has preferred a further appeal against the order of the Excise Commissioner before the Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Government of West Bengal. Let a copy of such appeal be made available to the counsel for the writ petitioner immediately. It is directed that the Additional Chief Secretary, Finance, Government of West Bengal shall dispose of the appeal of the District Collector within a period of one month from the date of

communication of a copy of this order, mandatorily and positively.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
