The petitioner alleges inaction of the Bhawanipore Police Station. It is alleged that on December 11, 2021 some patient party misbehaved with the petitioner. The petitioner works at the pharmacy of Chittaranjan Seva Sadan and Sishu Sadan Hospital. A complaint was accordingly lodged by the petitioner before the concerned police station. Mr. Banerjee, learned senior standing counsel submits that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner, Bhawanipore Police Station Case No.169 dated June 29, 2022 under Sections 341/322/114 of the Indian Penal Code was registered. The investigation is in progress. It is also submitted that a detailed enquiry was made by the hospital authorities with regard to the incident.

As the investigation with regard to the complaint of the petitioner is pending, nothing further is required to be decided in the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the police authorities to conclude the investigation in a free, fair and proper manner. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
