Upendranath Barui The contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 21st May, 1997 on an application for stay filed on 12th February, 1996 in connection with SAT of which has subsequently been numbered as SA 471 of 1996. The matter appeared in the list on 30th June, 2021 and was called on twice, but no one appeared on behalf of the applicant/petitioner. The matter is appearing in the list today marked as "Last Chance" with a note in the list that appropriate orders will be passed if no one appears in the matter. Even today no one appears in the contempt petition. No one has applied for joining in the virtual mode.

It appears that the parties are not interested to proceed further with the contempt petition. The same is disposed of without any further orders.
