1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner wishes to hold a rally going through Uluberia Amta Road from Karunamoyee Mandir's house to Karatberia, Howrah on 24th May, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. They wish to assemble at field next to the United Bhanta Way under Rajapur Police Station.

3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied to the police with ten days notice but has not received any response.

4. Counsel for the State Mr. Chatterjee has produced instructions of the Rajapur Police Station dated 19th May, 2023.

5. The Officer-in-charge, Rajapur Police Station has indicated that the road of the proposed rally is rather congested and the field is unlikely to hold more than 500 supporters.

6. The petitioner has produced and shown the videos of the grounds to the learned Advocate for the State. The petitioner assures that the rally field can accommodate about 2000 people.

7. Be that as it may, the petitioner shall name the three persons responsible for compliance of terms and conditions of holding the rally. The petitioner shall hold the said rally in a peaceful way and shall not cause any obstruction or inconvenience to the public at large.

8. The venue of rally shall be cleaned up after its conclusion. The route for the aforesaid rally shall be strictly followed by the petitioner and the organizers.

9. The police shall ensure appropriate arrangements and deployment.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Let a photostat plain copy of this order duly countersigned by the Assistant Registrar (Court) be handed over to the Counsels for the parties upon compliance with all necessary formalities.
