Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact in spite of English Bazar Police Station case no. 835/2025 pending and only one of the accused persons being arrested and rest of the accused are evading the process of law, it is alleged that the police authorities had not been vigilant in exhausting the process of BNSS.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that police authorities are trying their best to trace out rest of the accused persons who are evading the process of law.

In case the Inspector-in-Charge of English Bazar police station feels that assistance of superior officer of police are required then in that case Office of Superintendent of Police, Malda be informed for rendering necessary assistance.

Petitioner complains of insecurity, police authorities would ensure that there is a surveillance kept so that no further untoward incident results because of the previous incident which have taken place resulting in registration of FIR.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 12554 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
