Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondent no. 7.

The petitioner is a senior citizen. His wife is bedridden. The petitioner has annexed documents in support of the illness of his wife. It is alleged that the respondent no. 7 who resides elsewhere often comes to the house of the petitioner and disturbs the petitioner, uses abusive language at his parents and commits nuisance and mischief. Allegations of physical assault has also been made.

The police authorities recorded a general diary and made an enquiry. The enquiry revealed that the allegation that a CCTV camera had been installed by drawing the supply illegally from the street light was proved to be incorrect. The respondent no. 7 was not

residing in the premises. The police report is taken on record.

The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the police authorities to keep a vigil in order to ensure the safety and security of the petitioner and his ailing wife. Regular patrolling in the area shall be made. If the police authorities find that the parties have committed breach of peace, then steps shall be taken in accordance with law.

The other issues involved, shall be decided by the appropriate forum.

There shall be no order as to costs.
