This is an application for expeditious disposal of NDPS case no. 70 of 2021 filed by the petitioner/accused person in custody arising out of Palashipara Police Station Case no. 273 of 2021 dated 14th July, 2021 under Section 21(c) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1984 presently pending before the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Special Court N.D.P.S. at Krishnagar, Nadia. 2.

On perusal of the instant application and the materials on record, this court is of the view that the instant application can be disposed of with the assistance of the learned public prosecutor-in-charge on behalf of the State.

Therefore Mr. Rudradipta Nandi learned advocate is requested to assist this court on behalf of the state.

Appointment of Mr. Rudradipta Nandi be regularized by the learned Legal Remembrancer, Government of West Bengal. 5.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner was arrested on 14th July, 2021 under Section 21(c) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1984. Since then, he is in custody. On 6th January, 2022 charge-sheet was submitted being no. 01/2022 and on 2nd May, 2022 charge was framed. Subsequently dates were fixed for recording evidence on 28.07.2022, 29.07.2022 and 30.07.2022.

In view of the above factual position the instant revision is premature to pass any direction.

For the reasons stated above, I do not find merits in the instant revision and accordingly the revision is dismissed on contest, however, without cost.
