Das Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ... for the State Learned advocate for the petitioner is anxious regarding the progress of the trial of Special Case No.03 of 2015 (arising out of Raghunathganj Police Station Case No.196 of 2014 dated 29.03.2014) under Section 409 IPC which is pending before the learned Special Court cum Additional District Judge, 2nd Court, Berhampore, Murshidabad.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that 2 witnesses have been examined out of 6 witnesses so cited by the prosecution.

A copy of the revisional application be handed over to Mr. Paramanick, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State and is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

In view of anxiety expressed by the learned advocate for the petitioner and the fact that the case was initiated in the year 2014 and since almost 9 years have passed, I

direct that the learned trial court should fix at least one date in every 45 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties and the prosecution would ensure regarding the availability of the materials, exhibits and documents on the date so fixed for examination of the witnesses. All efforts must be taken to conclude the trial at the earliest.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
