This application under Section 483 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was filed in the year 2010 seeking direction upon the learned 4th court of Judicial Magistrate, Howrah to dispose of the proceeding being complaint case no. 446C of 2009 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

On 13th May, 2010, the revisional application was admitted and adjourned. 13 years have elapsed in the meantime which gives birth to reasonable presumption that during this period, the complaint case no. 446C of 2009 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act had reached at its logical conclusion. However, if the case is still pending before the learned trial court, the learned trial court shall make all possible endeavour to dispose it of within a reasonable period of time.

With this observation, the revisional application is disposed of.
