Vishal Kumr Mr. Arnab Sau ... for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than four months and the principal accused from whom 170 bottles of Fair Deal cough syrup have been recovered has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 707 of 2026. Learned advocate also submits that the petitioner has been implicated only on the basis of statement of a co-accused.

Having considered that the petitioner is better placed than the other accused person who has been granted bail, inspite of objection being raised by the learned advocate for the State, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail on the same terms and conditions as was imposed upon the

another accused who was granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 707 of 2026.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner [Saleem Miah @ Selim Miya] is Allowed.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1286 of 2026 is allowed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
