Affidavit-of-service and supplementary affidavit filed by the Counsel for the petitioner in Court today be taken on record.

The writ petitioner claims that WBSEDCL has disconnected the electricity to the petitioner without authority of law.

Counsel for the licensee submits that WBSEDCL had only complied with the order of the learned National Green Tribunal dated 17th June, 2021 passed in O.A. No. 21 of 2021 (EZ). He further submits that based on the above, the West Bengal Pollution Control Board directed the licensee on 11th August, 2021 to disconnect electricity to the writ petitioner. Since the Police and WBSEDCL have only complied with the order of the learned National Green

Tribunal (Eastern Zone), the petitioner cannot have any grievance against the respondent.

In these circumstances, the instant writ petition must fail and is hereby dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.
