The petitioner claims to be juvenile at the time of the alleged incident which occurred on 30th April, 2021. It appears from the report that upon enquiry and verification of the Aadhar Card of the petitioner, it is found that the petitioner was 17 years 10 months of age at the time of the alleged incident. His date of birth is found to be 23rd June, 2004. Therefore the petitioner was 16 years 10 months old and appears to be a juvenile at the time of the alleged incident.

The revisional application being CRR 2017 of 2024 is allowed.

Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bidhannagar is directed to send the matter to the relevant

Juvenile Justice Board for trial within a fortnight from date.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
