Petitioners approached this Court in respect of inaction of the police authorities.

Pursuant to the earlier direction, State has submitted a report. The report has dealt with many aspects of the issues between the petitioners and the private respondents.

Having considered that the nature of the dispute complained of is a civil dispute, I am of the view that in the present set of circumstances, police authorities would maintain surveillance, keep vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13783 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
