The earlier order passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in WPA 9362 of 2023 dated 31.07.2023 reflects that it was represented before the co-ordinate Bench that the unauthorized construction was detected and necessary steps for demolition of the same would be taken. The said part of the order related to the municipality, police authorities have no role to play. Since a fresh writ petition has been preferred before this Court, I direct the police authorities would only keep a strict vigil and ensure that no breach of the peace takes place.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 13814 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
