Banerjee) This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the complainant praying for a direction upon the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kolkata, Unit-IV at Sealdah to dispose of the Complaint Case No. 14 of 2023 expeditiously.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite party or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

From the order-sheets appended to this application this court finds that August 13, 2025 has been fixed for argument and filing of brief notes of arguments by the opposite party.

In view thereof, CO 1989 of 2025 stands disposed of by requesting the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission to take up the hearing of the Complaint Case No. 14 of 2023 on the next date fixed, i.e., on Augsut 13, 2025 and make an endeavour to see that the same is disposed of as expeditiously as possible, preferably by the end of September, 2025, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
