IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION APPELLATE SIDE (Through Video Conference) CRR 1840 of 2012 Smt. Indrani Sinha

Versus

The State of West Bengal & Anr.

In Re: An application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India.

The present revisional application was preferred against the proceeding being C-7055 of 2010 under Section 500 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner approached this Court at a stage when examination under Section 251 of the Code of Criminal Procedure was fixed by the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 7th Court, Calcutta. I have perused the contents made in the petitioner's complaint and also the contention advanced in the revisional application.

Having regard to the contention raised in the revisional application, I am of the view that at this early stage of the proceeding no interference is called for.

Accordingly, CRR 1840 of 2012 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
