1. Heard Mr. Anindya Bose, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Sumita Shaw, learned counsel appearing for the State.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that in a cinema hall named as 'Sreema Cinema Hall', certain illegal activities are taking place.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the State submitted a report of Officer-in-Charge of Bongaon Police Station, District North Parganas dated 30.06.2025 and urged that no such illegal activities were found in the area. In addition, it is mentioned that CCTV has been installed in the compound of the said cinema hall to keep surveillance in the compound, but no recording suggests any adverse thing. The aforesaid report is taken on record.

4. In view of such report, this PIL is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation with the proof if any such illegal activities take place hereinafter. In that event,

needless to mention that police will take appropriate action.

5. With the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on the merits of this, this PIL is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
