The writ petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station in respect of FIR No. 126 dated 31st July, 2020. Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel for the State submits that charge sheet no. 232 of 2021 dated 8th September, 2021 has been filed before the CMM, Calcutta. It is also submitted that the accused has been arrested and is on bail.

The petitioner may avail appropriate remedies under Section 173(8) of the Cr. P. C. before the court below.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
