And In Re : Amit Dhanuki .... petitioner Sk. Moinuddin Mr. Arshed Hussain ....for the petitioner Mr. Swapan Banerjee Mr. Suman De .... for the State Heard the learned Counsels for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the minor and that of her mother implicate the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. Vulnerable witnesses are yet to be examined. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
