Criminal Revisional Jurisdiction CRR 2023 of 2024 Dr. Debaleena Addya -versus- The State of W. B & Ors.

Petitioner preferred an application under Section 12 of 16-05-2024 Subha Item no. 89 Ct no.34 the PWDV Act. Petitioner also preferred an application for interim reliefs under Section 23 of the said Act. However, the affidavit of assets and liabilities are yet to be filed by both the parties. It has been informed that the next date is fixed on 6th June, 2024. Petitioner is directed to file her affidavit of assets and liabilities on 6th June, 2024, if the same is not possible on the date so fixed let the process of filing the affidavit of assets and liabilities at the instance of both the parties be completed by 6th July, 2024. The learned Judicial Magistrate, 6th court, Alipore is directed to consider and dispose of the application under Section 23 of the PWDV Act by 6th August, 2024.

Learned Magistrate will be at liberty to fix as many dates he deems fit and proper but the timeline for disposing of the application under Section 23 of the PWDV Act under no circumstances should be stretched.

With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 2023 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
