The petitioner says that he has been falsely implicated in this case due to previous grudge and local dispute. He has been languishing in judicial custody for about 138 days. Learned advocate appearing for the State has raised objection. She has drawn our attention to the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. as well as medical report submitted by the doctor.

Having considered the material on record, we find that there is sufficient material for not allowing the prayer for bail, at this stage.

CRM (DB) 1565 of 2024 is dismissed.
