The present revisional application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Cr (A) Case 01/2020(04/2020). The grievance of the petitioners is that the appeal is not being disposed of in spite of the same being admitted in the year 2020 and the matter being related to the provisions of PWDV Act, 2005.

Earlier, there was a direction by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CRR 954 of 2022 dated 14.09.2022 for expeditious disposal of the appeal as early as possible.

Records reflect that already the hearing has been concluded in the month of January, 2023 and the learned appellate court is at the stage of delivery of the judgment. Dates for the said purpose have been fixed by the learned appellate court on 23.02.2023, 28.02.2023, 09.03.2023, 29.03.2023, 12.04.2023, 21.04.2023 and 15.05.2023.

Today, when the matter has been taken up, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that till date, the learned appellate court has not delivered the judgment. Having regard to the earlier direction passed by the co-

ordinate Bench and the consequences which have been referred to therein, I am of the opinion that in all fitness the learned appellate court would pronounce its judgment by 30th June, 2023. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1975 of 2023 is disposed of.

Petitioners are directed to bring the aforesaid order to the notice of the learned appellate court within a week from date. Department is also directed to communicate this order to the learned appellate court within a week from date. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
