In the matter of : Madhusudan Dasgupta .......Petitioner The revisional application was preferred for expeditious disposal of Misc. Case No. 2 of 2012 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Hooghly.

Today, when the matter has been called, none appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Having regard to the prayer which has been advanced and the time which was being consumed for progress of the trial, I direct that in case, the proceedings of Misc. Case No. 2 of 2012 has not been disposed of till date, the learned Judicial Magistrate would take all efforts for completing the said proceedings by 31st May, 2022.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 1646 of 2017 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. The Department is directed to communicate this order to the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Hooghly.
